Various methods of searching for supersymmetric dark matter are sensitive toWIMPs with different properties. One consequence of this is that thephenomenology of dark matter detection can vary dramatically in differentsupersymmetric breaking scenarios.  In this paper, we consider the sensitivities to supersymmetric dark matter ofdifferent detection methods and techniques in a wide variety of supersymmetricbreaking scenarios. We discuss the ability of various astrophysicalexperiments, such as direct experiments, gamma-rays satellites, neutrinotelescopes and positron and anti-proton cosmic ray experiments, to test varioussupersymmetry breaking scenarios. We also discuss what information can berevealed about supersymmetry breaking by combining results from complementaryexperiments. We place an emphasis on the differences between variousexperimental techniques.Comment: 43 pages, 17 figure
