We present the complete next-to-leading order QCD corrections to thepolarized hadroproduction of heavy flavors which soon will be studiedexperimentally in polarized pp collisions at the BNL RHIC in order to constrainthe polarized gluon density Delta g. It is demonstrated that the dependence onunphysical renormalization and factorization scales is strongly reduced beyondthe leading order. The sensitivity of the heavy quark spin asymmetry to Delta gis studied, including the limited detector acceptance for experimentallyobservable leptons from heavy quark decays at the BNL RHIC. As a furtherapplication of our results, gluino pair production in polarized pp collisionsis briefly discussed.Comment: 17 pages, 4 EPS figure
