The photonic and QCD radiative corrections at next-to-leading order arecalculated for fermion-pair production at muon colliders, maintaining the fullmass dependence and helicity information of the muons and the producedfermions. Higher-order effects of initial-state radiation are included at theleading logarithmic level. In the calculation particular attention is paid tothe issue of gauge invariance in the vicinity of resonances. The most importantcorrections are presented in analytical form. The detailed numerical discussionconcentrates on the corrections to the (s-channel) Higgs-boson resonances inthe Standard Model and its minimal supersymmetric extension. The results showthat photonic initial- and QCD final-state corrections are very important in aprecision study of Higgs resonances, but that (photonic) initial-finalinterferences are widely suppressed and only modify the non-resonantbackground.Comment: 39 pages, latex, 19 postscript file
