We construct a realistic model based on SUSY SO(10) with U(2) flavorsymmetry. In contrast to the commonly used effective operator approach,$126-$dimensional Higgses are used to construct the Yukawa sector. R-paritysymmetry is thus preserved at low energies. The Dirac and right-handed Majoranamass matrices in our model have very small mixing, and they combine with theseesaw mechanism resulting in a large leptonic mixing. The symmetric masstextures arising from the left-right symmetry breaking chain of SO(10) giverise to very good predictions; 15 masses (including 3 right-handed Majorananeutrino masses) and 6 mixing angles are predicted by 11 parameters. Both thevacuum oscillation and LOW solutions are favored for the solar neutrinoproblem.Comment: 9 pages; REVTex; no figures; version to appear in Phys. Rev.
