In this work, we have investigated the phenomenon of acceleration radiationexhibited by an atom falling into a quantum corrected Schwarzschild black hole.We observe that the excitation-probability of the atom with simultaneousemission of a photon satisfies the equivalence principle when we compare it tothe excitation probability of a mirror accelerating with respect to an atom. Wealso demonstrate the validity of the equivalence principle for a generic blackhole geometry. Then we calculate the horizon brightened acceleration radiation(HBAR) entropy for this quantum corrected black hole geometry. We observed thatthe HBAR entropy has the form identical to that of Bekenstein-Hawking blackhole entropy along with universal quantum gravity corrections.
