In this article, we perform a sensitivity study of an unbinned angularanalysis of the $B\to D^*\ell \nu_\ell$ decay, including the contributions fromthe right-handed current. We show that the angular observable can constrainvery strongly the right-handed current without the intervention of the yetunsolved $V_{cb}$ puzzle.
