In this work, we extend the formalism of hybrid loop quantum cosmology forprimordial perturbations around a flat, homogeneous, and isotropic universe tothe new treatment of Friedmann-Lema\^itre-Robertson-Walker geometries proposedrecently by Dapor and Liegener, based on an alternative regularization of theHamiltonian constraint. In fact, our discussion is applicable also to otherpossible regularization schemes for loop quantum cosmology, although wespecialize our analysis to the Dapor-Liegener proposal and construct explicitlyall involved quantum operators for that case.
