The two-dimensional nature of graphene makes it an ideal platform to exploreproximity-induced unconventional planar superconductivity and the possibilityof topological superconductivity. Using Green's functions techniques, we studythe transport properties of a finite size ballistic graphene layer placedbetween a normal state electrode and a graphene lead with proximity-inducedunconventional superconductivity. Our microscopic description of such ajunction allows us to consider the effect of edge states in the graphene layerand the imperfect coupling to the electrodes. The tunnel conductance throughthe junction and the spectral density of states feature a rich interplaybetween graphene's edge states, interface bound states formed at thegraphene-superconductor junction, Fabry-P\'erot resonances originated from thefinite size of the graphene layer, and the characteristic Andreev surfacestates of unconventional superconductors. Within our analytical formalism, weidentify the separate contribution from each of these subgap states to theconductance and density of states. Our results show that graphene provides anadvisable tool to determine experimentally the pairing symmetry ofproximity-induced unconventional superconductivity.
