It was recently shown that odd-frequency superconducting pair amplitudes canbe induced in conventional superconductors subjected to a spatially-nonuniformtime-dependent drive. It has also been shown that, in the presence of interbandscattering, multiband superconductors will possess bulk odd-frequencysuperconducting pair amplitudes. In this work we build on these previousresults to demonstrate that by subjecting a multiband superconductor withinterband scattering to a time-dependent drive even-frequency pair amplitudescan be converted to odd-frequency pair amplitudes and vice versa. We willdiscuss the physical conditions under which these pair symmetry conversions canbe achieved and possible experimental signatures of their presence.
