In the temperature-magnetic field phase diagram, the binary metallic compoundMnSi exhibits three magnetic phases below Tc ~ 29 K. An unconventionalhelicoidal phase is observed in zero field. At moderate field intensity aconical phase sets in. Near Tc, in an intermediate field range, a skyrmionlattice phase appears. Here we show the magnetic structure in the conical phaseto strongly depend on the field direction and to deviate substantially from aconventional conical structure.
