Muon spin relaxation measurements are reported on samples of dimethylammoniummetal formates containing magnetic divalent nickel, cobalt, manganese, andcopper ions. These hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites exhibit weakferromagnetism and are, apart from the copper system, multiferroics with wellseparated magnetic and antiferroelectric transitions. We use muons to followthe sublattice magnetization, observing the effect of the spin reorientationtransitions below TN and the criticality approaching TN. The multiferroicsamples have three-dimensional antiferromagnetic interactions, but the coppersample shows quasi-one-dimensional behavior due to its Jahn-Teller distortedstructure, with a ratio of its inter- and intrachain exchange constantsj/J=0.037.
