We consider electron waveguides (quantum wires) in graphene created bysuitable inhomogeneous magnetic fields. The properties of uni-directional snakestates are discussed. For a certain magnetic field profile, two spatiallyseparated counter-propagating snake states are formed, leading to conductancequantization insensitive to backscattering by impurities or irregularities ofthe magnetic field.
