Polycrystalline Ni2.18Mn0.82Ga Heusler alloys with a coupledmagnetostructural transition are studied by differential scanning calorimetry,magnetic and resistivity measurements. Coupling of the magnetic and structuralsubsystems results in unusual magnetic features of the alloy.
