Quasiparticle states near the surface of a quasi-one-dimensional organicsuperconductor $({TMTSF})_{2}{PF}_6$ are studied based on an extended Hubbardmodel on a quasi-one dimensional lattice at quarter-filling. Three types ofpairing symmetries, (i) p-wave, (ii) d-wave, or (iii) $f$-wave are assumed. Theresulting surface density of states has characteristic features for eachpairing symmetry: i) a zero-energy peak (ZEP) in a U-shaped structure, ii) aV-shaped structure without ZEP, and iii) a ZEP in a V-shaped structure. Fromthese results, we propose that the tunneling spectroscopy serves as a strongmethod to identify the the pairing symmetry in $({TMTSF})_{2}{PF}_6$.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figure
