We derive the spectrum and the thermodynamics of the one-dimensionalsupersymmetric t-J model with long range hopping and spin exchange using a setof maximal-spin eigenstates. This spectrum confirms the recent conjecture thatthe asymptotic Bethe-ansatz spectrum is exact.
