We discuss the dynamical response of strongly interacting Bose atoms in anadiabatically tilted optical lattice. The analysis is performed in terms of themulti-level Landau-Zenner tunneling. Different regimes of tunneling areidentified and analytical expressions for the doublon number, which is thequantity measured in laboratory experiments, are derived.
