We present a scheme to generate arbitrary superposition of the Dicke statesof excitons in optically driven quantum dots. This proposal is based on asequence of laser pulses, which are tuned appropriately to control transitionson Dicke state. It is shown that N laser pulses are needed to generatearbitrary superposition of the Dicke states of N quantum dots
