Summary: Two new ballistosporogenous yeasts, Bullera crocea and Bullera armeniaca, are described. Bullera crocea was isolated from strawberries, cauliflowers and watercress, and B. armeniaca from cauliflowers and cabbage. Unlike B. alba, B. dendrophila, B. piricola and B. tsugae, these new species could not utilize lactose; B. crocea was distinguishable from B. armeniaca by the ability of the former to utilize melibiose.
