CONCLUSIONS • Voriconazole is the drug of choice for treatment of invasive aspergillus infections. It is also used for fungal infection prophylaxis in high risk hematologic malignancy patients.1,2 • Voriconazole is known to have non-linear kinetics at doses >200 mg. This could potentially lead to an increased risk for adverse events and toxicity in patients who receive >200 mg of voriconazole.3,4 • Voriconazole has been associated with adverse events including visual disturbances, hallucinations, altered mental status, and liver enzyme elevations.1,3,5,6
