Temporal analysis of INTEGRAL/IBIS data has revealed a 5.7195\pm0.0007 dayperiodicity in the supergiant fast X-ray transient (SFXT) source AXJ1845.0-0433, which we interpret as the orbital period of the system. Thenew-found knowledge of the orbital period is utilised to investigate thegeometry of the system by means of estimating an upper limit for the size ofthe supergiant (<27 R_{\sun}) as well as the eccentricity of the orbit(\epsilon<0.37).
