Several insecticides were evaluated on seedling pecans field grown in a nursery for control of the pecan budmoth. Treatments were applied using a 3 gal hand sprayer. A randomized complete block design, with seven treatments and four replications per treatment, was used. Each replicate consisted of 100 row-ft of seedlings. A random sample of 20 row-ft was chosen in each replicate for each evaluation. The number of pecan buds infested by the pecan budmoth was counted. Prespray counts averaged 10 infested buds per 20 row ft.
