Thirteen weekly applications were made to commercially grown potted chrysanthemum plants located in Encinitas, Calif., beginning 21 May. Trigard 75WP was applied at IX, 2X, and 4X the recommended rate of 0.125 lb (AI)/acre. Three 6-in. pots, with five plants per pot, of each variety were evaluated per treatment rate. Applications were made with a 1-gal pressurized sprayer at 60 lb/in2. The last application was made to plants in open bloom.
