Treatments were applied on 7 June to mature semidwarf trees. Single tree plots were arranged in a randomized block design replicated four times. Trees were sprayed to runoff with a handgun, using a Bean 35 gal/min hydraulic sprayer operating at 400 lb/in2. Mites were counted by randomly selecting 200 leaves per replicate and counting all motile forms with aid of a hand lens.
