In a field test at Jackson, Tennessee, 4 systemic insecticides were tested in 14 treatments for control of aphids which transmit barley yellow dwarf virus. Seedling date was October 1 '75. Four replications of each treatment were made using a randomized complete block design. Each plot consisted of 5,20 ft rows, 7.5 inches apart with 2 ft between plots.
