The efficacy of 4 insecticides was tested against GS at Kona, Hawaii. The sprays were applied on 20 Feb to individual trees until dripping with a hand-held bottle sprayer. Each treatment was replicated 6 times. Scale densities were recorded from 4 young fully developed leaves near the terminal of each tree. The number of GS were counted for each sampled leaf. Data were analyzed using ANOVA.
