Sprays were applied dilute by handgun operating at 200 psi to 14-yr-old pear trees. Test plots consisted of 4 single-tree replicates in a randomized block. Treatments consisted of single sprays applied on 18 Mar (delayed dormant) or two sprays applied on 18 Mar and 8 Apr (white bud). Treatments were evaluated by beating-tray counts of PP adults (2 trays/tree) and counts of PP eggs and nymphs on 5 spurs/tree.
