Chrysanthemum cuttings were rooted under mist, soft pinched, and allowed to harden off in 3-inch pots. Plants were then exposed to the leafminer colony for 1.5 h. Small mines were counted 4 days following exposure. Plants were grouped with totals of 40 or more mines/group, and the groups were sprayed to runoff with treatment solutions from hand-held mist bottles. Plants were clipped and bagged 2 days following treatment; pupae were counted 4 days later.
