Plots were located in a commericial hop yard near Greenleaf, Idaho. Each plot consisted of 18 hills. Treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block with 4 replicates. Granular insecticides were manually distributed around hills on 25 Sep '85 (post-harvest) and worked into the top 2 inches of soil with a hoe. Total larval counts were determined b> screening soil around base of plant on 21-22 Apr '86.
