Granule treatments were applied 26 Jun with tractor-mounted modified Noble electric granule meters through 7-inch spreaders held at 52 inches above the ground. Crop height was 36-42 inches at application. Plots were single 100-ft rows arranged in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications. Damage was evaluated on 17 Jul by splitting 10 plants per plot with feeding scars from tassel to the first root node and counting larvae and pupae.
