Sweet corn was planted on 29 Jun near Georgetown, DE. Plots were 4 rows wide on 40-inch centers and 20 ft long. Treatments were replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. Granular whorl treatments were applied with a hand shaker in a 7-inch band over the whorl. Foliar treatments were applied with a wheelbarrow design, CO2 pressurized sprayer using 1 nozzle per row delivering 69 gal/acre at 40 psi on 26 Jul. Ten plant whorls were removed from each plot, unrolled, and the number of infested plants were counted.
