Y-Tex PYthon® (10%) ear tags were applied to 80 crossbred cows (1 tag/cow) 25 May. The study was conducted at the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory, Whitman, NE. A herd of 44 cows served as an untreated control. Fly counts were recorded on a weekly basis by counting the total number of flies on both sides of a cow with a minimum of 15 cows included during each fly counting session.
