In the article Galois representations and modular forms by K. Ribet (Bull. Amer. Math. Soc. (N.S.) 32 (4), 375–402), the author refers repeatedly to the conjecture that all elliptic curves over Q are modular. In the author’s manuscript, the name “Taniyama-Shimura conjecture” was used for this statement. After reviewing page proofs for this article, the author requested that the name “Shimura-Taniyama conjecture” be used instead, since this has become the more standard name. This correction was inadvertently overlooked.
