In this study, methylene blue wastewater was used as simulation printing and dyeing wastewater, and ferric chloride was used as modifier to modify the pomelo peel of Shatian Pomelo from Meizhou, Guangdong. The optimal ratio of modifier and raw material was analyzed by simulating the change of absorbance of printing and dyeing wastewater, and the prepared pomelo peel was characterized by SEM. The experimental results showed that when the ratio of modifier to grapefruit peel raw material was 25:1, the modified grapefruit peel biochar reached the highest adsorption effect of 10 mg/L methylene blue solution, and the adsorption efficiency was as high as 97.16%.
