The uniqueness of the position of calciphilic plants listed in the Red Data Book of Russia in modern conditions is determined by the need for their protection, and their partial destruction, in the course of implementing large-scale environmental programs. In this regard, since 2009, the GBS RAS has been conducting an experiment to study and conserve them ex situ. The result of the work was the creation of a floristic collection, including 25 taxa. The special significance of the conditions of artificial habitats for stenotopic species is shown. For the first time in culture, 7 new species were tested. A high proportion of resistant plants was revealed, exceeding 90%. The categories of rarity, life forms are studied; their ecological and regional confinement in European Russia is shown.
