We describe some of the first polarized neutron scattering measurementsperformed at HYSPEC spectrometer at the Spallation Neutron Source, Oak RidgeNational Laboratory. We discuss details of the instrument setup and theexperimental procedures in the mode with full polarization analysis. Examplesof polarized neutron diffraction and polarized inelastic neutron data obtainedon single crystal samples are presented.
