In the Feynman amplitude approach for coherent collisions of a jet withmedium partons, the Bose-Einstein symmetry with respect to the interchange ofthe exchanged bosons leads to a destructive interference of the amplitudes inmost regions of the phase space but a constructive interference in some otherregions. As a consequence, there is a collective longitudinal momentum transferto the scatterers along the jet direction, each scatterer carrying asubstantial fraction of the incident jet longitudinal momentum. Themanifestation of the Bose-Einstein interference may have been observed inangular correlations of hadrons associated with a high-p_T trigger inhigh-energy collisions at RHIC and LHC.
