Dense ZnO films were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering, and PN junctions were formed with Cu 2 O films prepared at different deposition temperatures. Different characterization methods show that the PN junction has better transmittance. Compared with the unheated Cu 2 O, the Cu 2 O / ZnO PN junction formed by the heated Cu 2 O film shows obvious enhancement of photoelectric properties, which can be attributed to that the improved film crystallinity with the increased sputtering substrate temperature, can reduce the corresponding defects in the film.
