A semilinear descriptor system with a linear part and a nonlinear term is considered. This system is not resolved with respect to the derivative of the desired vector function. The article describes the optimal measurement problem for the model under study with the Showalter–Sidorov condition. Based on the methods of the theory of dynamic measurements, sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution to the problem of optimal measurement are found.
