In this paper, the acoustic and optical properties of a number of liquids transparent in the terahertz range are systematized. The acousto-optic quality is calculated for the quasi-orthogonal and collinear geometry of the acousto-optic interaction. The parameters of acousto-optic deflectors and filters of terahertz radiation are determined. The diagrams linking the resolution for the filter and the maximum number of resolvable elements for the deflector with the diffraction efficiency are given.
