The emission angle and the transverse momentum distributions of projectilefragments produced in fragmentation of $^{56}$Fe on CH$_{2}$, C, and Al targetsat 471 A MeV are measured. It is found that for the same target the averagevalue and width of angular distribution decrease with increase of theprojectile fragment charge, and for the same projectile fragment the averagevalue of the distribution increases and the width of the distribution decreaseswith increasing the target charge number. The transverse momentum distributionof projectile fragment can be explained by a single Gaussian distribution andthe averaged transverse momentum per nucleon decreases with the increase of thecharge of projectile fragment. The cumulated squared transverse momentumdistribution of projectile fragment can be well explained by a single Rayleighdistribution. The temperature parameter of emission source of projectilefragment, calculated from the cumulated squared transverse momentumdistribution, decreases with the increase of the size of projectile fragment.
