We explore constraints on multipartite dark matter (DM) framework composed ofsinglet scalar DM interacting with the Standard Model (SM) through Higgs portalcoupling. We compute relic density and direct search constraints including theupdated LUX bound for two component scenario with non-zero interactions betweentwo DM components in $\mathcal{Z}_2\times \mathcal{Z}_2^{'}$ framework incomparison with the one having $\mathcal{O}(2)$ symmetry. We point outavailability of a significantly large region of parameter space of such amultipartite model with DM-DM interactions.
