We investigate the dynamics of charge--states coherence in a degeneratedouble--dot Aharonov--Bohm interferometer with finite interdot Coulombinteractions. The quantum coherence of the charge states is found to besensitive to the transport setup configurations, involving both thesingle--electron impurity channels and the Coulomb--assisted ones. Wenumerically demonstrate the emergence of a complete coherence between the twocharge states, with the relative phase being continuously controllable throughthe magnetic flux. Remarkably, a fully coherent charge qubit arises at thedouble--dots electron pair tunneling resonance condition, where the chemicalpotential of one electrode is tuned at the center between a single--electronimpurity channel and the related Coulomb--assisted channel. This pure quantumstate of charge qubit could be \emph{experimentally located} at thecurrent--voltage characteristic turnover position, where differentialconductance sign changes. We further elaborate the underlying mechanism forboth the real--time and the stationary charge--states coherences in thedouble--dot systems of study.

Manipulating quantum coherence of charge states in interacting double-dot Aharonov-Bohm interferometers
