We investigate the energy-momentum tensor form factors of the nucleon withinthe famework of a chiral soliton model, including the $\rho$ and $\omega$vector mesons. We examine the role of each meson degrees of freedom in theseform factors. It is explicitly shown that the pion provides strong attractionwhereas the $\rho$ and $\omega$ yield repulsion in such a way that the solitonbecomes stabilized. The results are discussed in comparison with those of othermodels.
