This article discusses two studies that examine the reconceptualization and validation of a measure of self-acceptance within the LGBTQ + communities. The results indicated that the Factors of Self-Acceptance—Sexual and Gender Identities (FSA-SGI) Scale is a valid and reliable measure that examines both intra- and interpersonal aspects of self-acceptance in LGBTQ + individuals.
