Plasticized PLA/PCL at various concentrations present in the results of DSC tests showed that the T g  and T m  shifted to a lower temperature and that the largest shift appeared at the 80PLA/20PCL–(TEC-PEG 3 )20. Plasticizers have been shown to enhance the crystallization of PLA. Rigid and plasticized blends have been shown to be partially miscible. The TGA results indicated that TEC and PEG 3  promoted a decrease in thermal stability of the PLA and 80PLA/20PCL. The plasticizing effect was also shown by decrease in the dynamic storage modulus and viscosity of plasticized mixtures compared to the treated PLA and PLA/PCL.
