The sensitivity of the  9 C +  208 Pb elastic scattering reaction at  Elab  = 227 MeV (three times the barrier energy) towards the yielded potential combinations ( 9 C density distributions + effective nucleon–nucleon interactions), bringing about a decent portrayal of the data, was estimated all through the optical double folding model.
