Energy, and especially electrical energy, is one of the main elements that must be supplied to their citizens for all countries. Turkey does not have sufficient hydrocarbon-based energy sources and primarily provides a significant portion of its energy needs from sources based on imports, including oil and natural gas. Because of Turkey’s geographical location, solar energy is too high in terms of potential yield. To spread this potential to twenty-four hours of the day, it must use all the available solar energy technologies. In this study, an integrated solar power project based on CSP and PV technologies for a site in the south of Turkey is developed. In addition, according to meteorological data, it is examined that the proper technology assessment process for site characteristics and results is given. A site-based methodology based on meteorological data was followed in the study. Considering the characteristics of the field, the temperature, humidity, air pressure, precipitation amount, cloudiness, and wind speed information of the region were obtained. Using different sources, monthly average solar radiation parameters DNI and GHI of the site were determined. Considering these data, the comparison of CSP technologies to be used because of determining designs suitable for field coordinates was made. When the electrical harvest that can be taken is considered in terms of efficiency, it was seen that the electrical efficiency will be obtained as 30.8% with PTC and 36.4% with CSR technology. As a result of the evaluations, the PV + CSR model was decided.
