The results of studies on obtaining and environmental application of silver NPs in presents carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) as capping agent and Ag 0 (NPs)/TiO 2  nanocomposite synthesized by plasma–liquid discharge are presented in the paper. The influence of reagents ratio, duration of plasma discharge treatment on the synthesis of nanoparticles and their characteristics (average diameter and index polydispersity) are investigated. The UV-Vis spectra showed the absorbance at wavelengths of 405–420 nm. The DLS analysis in complex with SEM and TEM microscope images showed that the shape of Ag NPs was spherical with particle size up to 20–30 nm. Investigation of the kinetics of nanoparticle dispersion formation showed that the reaction was a pseudo-first order reaction and the reaction rate constant was 0.58 min −1 . It has been established that СМС is the only stabilizer in the plasma chemical formation of nanoparticles. Silver nanoparticles have been deposited on commercial powder TiO 2  by a method involving plasma discharge. Composite TiO 2 /Ag NPs has structure like the core–shell constructed by the TiO 2  sphere cores and Ag NPs 15–25 nm shell size of (EDS and SEM). The results indicate that the photocatalytic efficiency for degradation of pharmaceutical drag (tetracycline antibiotic) of TiO 2 /Ag is higher than that of pure TiO 2 . A possible pathway of photodegradation TC was also proposed.
