No studies have investigated of the relationship between high school students’ attitudes towards addictive substances and their social exclusion status. This study aimed to identify the relationship between the social exclusion status of high school students and their attitudes on addictive substances. A total of 385 students from 5 high schools in Elazığ, Turkey formed the sample group of the study. Results from the regression analysis performed as part of this study showed that there was a positive relationship between the feelings of exclusion and neglect that the students experienced and their social exclusion.
