The present study is aimed at investigating the effect of vibration on heat transfer to non-Newtonian nanofluid under laminar condition flowing through a pipe. Various volume fractions of 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5% copper nanoparticles are mixed with water to study the heat transfer rates of nanofluid flowing through the vibrating pipe for Reynolds number varying from 50 to 1,000. Effect of frequencies from 20 to 40 Hz and amplitudes from 0.5 to 1 mm are also studied. The highest Thermal Performance Factor is 3.7 for Re = 100, F = 20 Hz, A = 1 mm and φ = 2.5%.
